August - Lazy summer
August Summary:
Well, I didn’t get as much done as I had hoped this month, and it showed. I need to add more fresh content to keep people coming. Also, my running website had less traffic, but I think it was due to extremely hot and humid weather. Less people looking for running info then… On a positive note, I got my first check from Adroll (see article – Got my first Adroll check). I also received a few free samples from advertisers from Adroll, which was nice. In return I agreed to write a review. I’ve got one done and three more to do. Read more
July - Going non-profit reduced profits
July Summary:
After a string of steady income records, July was somewhat of a downer. Google Adsense was down. Amazon Associates, although I had sales, produced zero income. How’s that possible? Well, I only sold used books that sold for 0.01 each. My 6% on those sales were neglible. Adroll was still strong, but started to fade towards the end of the month. ADSDAQ had a relatively good month, a record infact, but with my relatively low traffic it only generated a couple bucks. I must also note one thing: I have officially started the process of shifting one of my websites (my second running website) into a non-profit. That is why you will only see three websites listed, instead of the usual four. This actually consumed a lot of my time, so that may somewhat explain the dip in revenue for the month. Read more
Summer starts with record earnings!
June Summary:
For a second month in a row, Adroll added a significant amount of cash (40%) to the month’s total earnings. Personally, life was really busy, so there weren’t as many updates as I had planned in June. I did receive a couple goodies in the mail to review for my running website, which was nice. I got a media pass to cover a big track meet in the local area and a book from an author in New Zealand to review. Oh, and supposedly, there is a pack of cookies to sample in the mail too.
