Adroll is paying off

In the rough economy, it may be that advertisers are looking for alternative places to funnel some money. For the first time, Adroll generated some solid income. In previous months it added zero to just a few bucks, but this last month it contributed 20% of my total income.

I’m not sure what happened, but I received 11 separate ad campaigns in May. So far this month, I’ve approved seven ad campaigns. As I’m writing up my advertising strategies for my other websites, I now must consider Adroll’s role.

This is particularly interesting when designing my ad spaces for my Science website. It is really geared for high school and college chemistry students, but the keywords generate really odd Google AdSense ads. Virtually none of it is something that a teenager would click on. Adroll will allow me to group with other websites geared towards teens and funnel some appropriate ads towards them. It would also be good for teachers, so maybe I can start two separate rolls – Teacher Roll and High School Roll.

Come to think of it, I think this is a really good idea.  I’m going to do this right now.  Give Adroll a try.   You may be surprised.
